Tomato and Herb Sautéed Green Beans
Green beans sautéed in tomato, garlic, and basil make an appetizing vegetable side dish. It’s an easy dish to make that everyone will enjoy.

4 c. fresh cut or frozen green beans
6 oz tomato puree
2 T. chopped fresh basil
2 T. olive oil
1 T. minced garlic
¼ t. salt
1 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in a heavy bottomed frying pan. Add minced garlic and basil, cook one minute. Add green beans, tomato puree, salt, and water. Simmer until green beans are fork tender and liquid is absorbed.
Makes 4-6 servings
